Brian W. Muhler, DDS
After graduating from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a BS degree in chemistry, Dr. Muhler went on to pursue dental education at the University of Maryland Dental School and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Muhler is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Baltimore County Dental Society.
He started practicing in 1988 and has been in private practice ever since. He provides general dental care for children and adults along with root canals, surgical extractions, crowns and bridges, removable partial and complete dentures, dental fillings, bonding, post and core, limited orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, and veneers. He is available at all times for emergency care.
Rodney D. Martin, DDS
Dr. Martin received his BS degree from Towson University. He pursued dental education at the University Of Maryland Dental School and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Baltimore County Dental Society.
He joined the team at Dental Associates after graduation. He provides dental care for both children and adults and his areas of expertise include bridges, extractions, crowns, removable partial, complete dentures, bondings, post and core, dental cleaning with fluoride, varnish treatments, and teeth whitening.
Martin S. Sugar, DDS
Dr. Sugar takes pride in offering the highest quality cosmetic and preventive family dentistry. He is committed to providing his patients with healthy, comfortable, and younger-looking smiles.
His hope is to establish lasting relationships with patients, based on mutual trust and open communication. He will work to provide you with a caring and friendly experience using the highest standards of professional care and modern facilities, techniques, and equipment. He wants your visits to be efficient and gentle, with fees that are fair for the services provided.
Dr. Martin Sugar is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. He received his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland.
After practicing in Baltimore for 2 years, he decided to start a dental practice in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. His goal was clear, to establish a patient-oriented practice committed to providing the highest quality dental care in an inviting and comfortable setting. Over 30 years of practice have helped him acquire a vast amount of experience and compassion.
Dr. Sugar practices all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry. He is continually expanding his training and knowledge in an effort to give his patients the best possible treatment. He loves the practice of dentistry and the personal interaction with his patients.
Dr. Sugar lives in Baltimore County with his wife, Fern, and their two dogs Jack and Rosie. He has two daughters, Melissa and Stacey. He enjoys painting, gardening, cooking, and a pleasant round of golf.
Collin W. Muhler, DDS
Dr. Collin W. Muhler received his BS degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Dr. Muhler went on to pursue his dental education at the University of Maryland Dental School and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2022. Dr. Muhler has been working at Dental Associates since 2010 as an administrator and assistant. Dental Associates welcomed Dr. Muhler into our practice in August 2022.
He provides dental care for both children and adults and his areas of expertise include bridges, extractions, crowns, removable partials, complete dentures, root canals, bonding, post and cores, implant crowns, dental cleanings, and teeth whitening treatment.
Dr. Muhler is newly engaged to his fiancé Dr. Chelsey N. Hicks, who is also practicing at Dental Associates as of August 2022. Dr. Muhler has a Wheaten Terrier named Chief who is a loving terror. In Dr. Muhler’s free time, he enjoys woodworking, golf, landscaping, poker, and many other fun activities.
Chelsey N Hicks, DDS
Dr. Chelsey N. Hicks received her BS degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Hicks moved from Virginia to Baltimore City in order to pursue her dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Hicks received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in May 2022. Dental Associates welcomed Dr. Hicks into our practice in August 2022.
Dr. Hicks began her journey in the field of dentistry when she was 16. While in high school she took a dental assisting course through the technical center and upon graduating she began working as a dental and orthodontic assistant.
Dr. Hicks started practicing dentistry at Dental Associates in August, 2022. She provides dental care to kids, adults, and geriatric patients. Her areas of expertise include crowns, bridges, tooth whitening, restorative, cosmetics, complete dentures, extractions, and more. Dr. Hicks plans to get trained in Botox, Filler, and Invisalign.
When not talking about teeth, Dr. Hicks enjoys time with her dog, family back home and her fiancé Dr. Collin W. Muhler.
